Introduction

The Living Room is the second playable night (memory) in The Joy of Creation: Story Mode. In the living room you have to monitor the animatronic's movement and hide from them to survive.

Gameplay

The player must survive until 6 A.M., defending themselves from the four ignited animatronics. Each animatronic behaves and attacks in a different style. The player can sit down on the couch, which allows the player to look through the vision of both Ignited Foxy and Ignited Freddy, along with the ability to pause one of them in their tracks. Behind the couch is a set of double doors, where the player can look through a keyhole to monitor Ignited Bonnie's progress. Ignited Chica also returns, stunning the player like in the previous night. The night also introduces free movement, used to hide from anything that might enter the room.

Animatronic Behavior

Ignited Freddy approaches from the left door subjective to when the player faces away from the TV. When he is near the door, the player must hide by moving where Ignited Freddy can't see the player, which is behind the door. If the player fails to do so, Ignited Freddy will kill the player. If the player succeeds, Ignited Freddy will return to his start position.

Ignited Foxy approaches from the right door subjective to when the player faces away from the TV.  When he is near the door, the player must hide by moving behind the door, where Ignited Foxy can't see the player, breaking his sight-line to them. If the player fails to do so, Ignited Foxy will kill the player. If the player succeeds, Ignited Foxy will return to his start position.

Ignited Bonnie approaches from behind the double doors at the back, subjective to when the player faces away from the TV. He will slowly move towards the doors. The player can monitor Ignited Bonnie's progress by interacting with the door's keyholes. Ignited Bonnie's movements are also marked by growling noises. Ignited Bonnie goes through 6 phases, each being marked by the growling (with the exception of the first): 1: he is not seen when looking through the keyhole. 2: he can be seen in the distance. 3: he is considerably closer. 4: Ignited Bonnie has come so close that only his chest and lower jaw can be seen. 5: he is looking into the keyhole and is about to enter the room. 6: Ignited Bonnie will open both doors, to avoid getting spotted, the player must move near the doors of where Ignited Freddy and Ignited Foxy enter from. If the player fails to do this, Ignited Bonnie will kill the player. If the player succeeds, then Ignited Bonnie will close the doors and return to phase 1.

Ignited Chica will spawn into the room, but only every so often. It's possible to survive the level without noticing her presence at all. Ignited Chica will begin to growl while present in the room. When you hear her, stand up and stand still until the growling stops, indicating that she is gone.

Trivia

  • Michael mentions Scott's name, although he was never told Scott's name
    • Val, the character you play as, remarks on this fact, but Michael does not answer, simply ending the call and starting the night.
  • Ignited Golden Freddy can spawn in on this night.
    • The method of doing so is this: leave the message from Michael running, sit down on the couch and hold down the pause button on Ignited Freddy's camera for around 15-30 seconds. Afterwards, looking through the keyhole behind the couch should show Ignited Golden Freddy.
      • This is also how to obtain the secret news article for the living room.
      • Ignited Golden Freddy is unable to harm the player.
